GENERAL INFORMATION

 

 

 

BE SURE TO USE GOOGLE CHROME BROWSER FOR REGISTRATION. THIS IS A NEW REGISTRATION SYSTEM. IF YOU HAVE NOT CREATED A FAMILY ACCOUNT IN 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR, YOU WILL NEED TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT.

If you have registered on this site before PLEASE log in to your Family account, do not create a new account. 

 

DOUGLAS COUNTY DISTRICT ATHLETIC REGISTRATION PROCESS

Each student-athlete must have the online athletic registration forms completed, a physician’s clearance form uploaded, the district athletic fee paid, and a CHSAA account created. 

Athletes will NOT be allowed to try out until all 4 things are completed:

  1. Online registration - on this site

  2. Physicals signed and dated by the doctor and uploaded in registration  

  3. Payment - through My School Bucks

  4. CHSAA account created - your account is automatically created when you register now. 

 

Transfer Students: If you are new to Mountain Vista and NOT a freshman please fill out the Transfer Student Questionnaire to begin the transfer process with CHSAA. Click here to be directed to the Google form.

The Athletic Office Regular office hours 7-3:30.

The Douglas County School District requires an athletic fee for each sport/season of $200. 

All students homeschooled or enrolled in private or charter schools, or schools outside our district that do not have sports who wish to participate in an MVHS athletic team MUST complete paperwork to register as a Mountain Vista student for the purpose of extracurricular activities.  You will not be able to pay the participation fee in My School Bucks for Mountain Vista sports until this paperwork has been completed and processed by the MVHS Registrar, Ros Geraci. To begin the Sportsline of enrollment you will need to fill out these CENSUS FORMS, and email the completed forms back to Ms. Geraci, rgeraci@dcsdk12.org  with a copy of your student's Birth Certificate, immunization records, and Proof of Residency, i.e. warranty deed or lease agreement.  If you have already done this for the previous school year,  you need to contact Ms. Geraci to let her know that you need your sports line of enrollment active for the 23-24 school year. 

SPORTS 

If you are interested in going out for interscholastic sports at Mountain Vista High School, make sure you are familiar with the various programs offered and the procedures involved for registration and participation. 

CUT POLICY

Some sports will involve cutting students from a team. This is due to many factors, the most important being the safety and welfare of students. Other reasons are limited numbers needed on a particular team, facilities and space availability, equipment limitations, lack of athletic ability, and individual coaching philosophies. 

Athletic Registration

Before the start of registration, have the following information available:

  • the sport that your child will participate in
  • doctor and hospital contact information
  • emergency contact information
  • medicine and allergy information

First Time Users - Create an Account & Register

Note: If you previously created an account and want to add a sibling or new student, log in to your family account. DO NOT create a separate account.

Create Family Account

  1. Fill out the registration form.
  2. Create a username and password for your family account on the checkout page.
  3. Check your inbox and open the email with the subject, Confirm Your Activity Registration Account.  Note: If the confirmation email does not show in your inbox, you may also want to check your spam folder.

  4. Click register and add your student(s).

  5. Registration will be complete and sent to athletics once you hit "Submit". If you just save for later your registration will not be sent. You will get a confirmation of completion. 


Family Account Login for Returning Users

Guidelines for returning users:

To register the same student:

  1. Login to your family account.
  2. Click "Register" link (blue paper and pencil icon) and choose the “name of student” from its dropdown.
  3. On the next page, choose the “name of the student” from the student name dropdown. 
    Note: The form will auto-populate the answers based on your previously submitted registration. Please review and edit the answers if needed.
  4. Choose the activity/sport then continue and submit the registration.

 

To add a new student to your family account:

  1. Login to your family account.
  2. Click "Register" link (blue paper and pencil icon) and choose "Register a New Student" from its dropdown. 
    Note: Fill out the form as a new registration.
  3. Choose the activity/sport then continue and submit the registration.
